‘மயூரி’ புகழ் சுதாசந்திரன் வடக்கில் போய் செட்டில் ஆகி அங்கு சின்னத்திரை, பெரியதிரை, மேடை நிகழ்ச்சிகள் என்று பரபரவென பறக்கும் வேளையில் தமிழ் படவுலகமே மறந்தே போய் இருந்தார். அவரை தனது ‘சத்யம்’ படத்தின் மூலம் தமிழில் மீண்டும் நடிக்க வைத்திருக்கிறார் இயக்குநர் இராஜசேகர். இப்படத்தில் ‘மன்னன்’ படத்தில் ரஜினியின் தாயாக பக்கவாத நோயுடன் வந்த பண்டரிபாய் மாதிரி சுதாசந்திரனின் கதாபாத்திரம் சித்திரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதால் இதில் நடிக்க அவர் சம்மதித்து நடித்து வருகிறார். இதில் விஷாலின் பக்கவாத நோய் தாக்கிய தாயாக சுதாசந்திரன் நடித்திருக்கிறார்.
